On September 19th, the inaugural meeting of the province's leisure agriculture and rural tourism industry alliance was held in Yaner Valley, Luotian County.

After more than 100 leisure agricultural entrepreneurs and industry leaders in the field elected and voted, the former provincial inspector Sun Bihui was elected as the first chairman of the alliance, Xu Zhixin, chairman of Hubei Yanke Valley Ecological Tourism Agriculture Co., Ltd., as executive chairman, Hubei Guo Yangfu, chairman of Xingfu Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., and Wang Jie, general manager of Hubei Tuanxiang Agricultural Group Co., Ltd., were elected as vice-chairmen, and Zhou Shengli, vice president of Hubei Zhonglu Organic Agriculture Research Institute, was the secretary-general.

According to Zhou Shengli, Secretary General of the Alliance, the purpose of forming an alliance is to cultivate industry brands by integrating industrial resources, while strengthening industry self-discipline, standardizing management and market innovation, jointly promoting healthy and orderly operation of the industry, and promoting the development of leisure agriculture and rural tourism.

Xu Zhixin, Executive Chairman of the Alliance, hopes to combine the leisure agriculture and rural tourism industries with the precision poverty alleviation work to provide more employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for returning migrant workers and the poor.
