According to statistics, in the first half of this year, Guangdong Port imported 349,000 tons of fruit from ASEAN, an increase of 1.4%, accounting for 39.9% of the total imported fruit through the Guangdong port during the same period; importing 39,000 tons from the Philippines, an increase of 43.4%. In the same period, imports from Chile were 266,000 tons, a substantial increase of 61.1%; imports from Australia were 43,000 tons, an increase of 3.8%. Imports from Egypt were 36,000 tons, an increase of 20.6%. It is reported that the monthly import volume of fruit through the Guangdong port has maintained a good growth trend this year.
